Within the project "Clausthal Approachto Digital ENgineeringto boost Circular Economy- CADENCE" (measure JAP Julius-Albert Program) funded by the state of Lower Saxony for 5 years on onboarding phases in studies as well as project-based and cross-course teaching in a predominantly natural science and engineering university, the Department of the Vice President for Studies and Teaching at Clausthal University of Technology is looking for the following employees:

Employee as Coordinator
of the Julius-Albert Program (m/f/d) [ID: JAP-KOOR]


with 100% of regular working hours from 01.10.2025 until 30.09.2030. The remuneration is based on the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L), the classification is made in pay group 13 TV-L if the professional and collective agreement requirements are met.

Your profile

  • Completed scientific university degree (Master's or comparable), preferably in the STEM field
  • Experience in study program management
  • Experience in public relations
  • Very good knowledge of German and English

Areas of responsibility in the field of coordination:

  • Coordination of the Julius Albert Program
  • Supervision of the conception of the introduction of the onboarding of domestic and international students for both the Bachelor's and Master's programs at the TUC
  • Analysis of the possibilities and development of concepts in project-based teaching for possible study programs at the TUC
  • Development of a marketing concept for the JAP

Your profile

  • Completed scientific university degree (Master's or comparable), preferably in the STEM field
  • Didactic skills in the STEM field, preferably in courses with an information technology background
  • Programming experience
  • Very good knowledge of German and English

Areas of responsibility in the field of digitalization of project-based teaching:

  • Development of an onboarding app for the TUC for both Bachelor's and Master's degree programs
  • Development of a match-making platform for cross-course projects
  • Checking the feasibility of project-based teaching as well as cross-course projects for different degree programs
  • Implementation of marketing concepts for the TUC

Areas of responsibility in the field of onboarding

  • Integration into the Digitec study program for the onboarding of domestic and international students to gain experience of onboarding concepts
  • Examination of other degree programs for the transferability of onboarding phases
  • Concept development and transfer of different onboarding concepts in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs

Lecturer for special tasks in the field of

  • Completed scientific university degree (Master's or comparable), preferably in engineering sciences
  • Didactic skills in the MINT area
  • Very good knowledge of English and German

Responsibilities in the area of project-based teaching:

  • Involvement in the project-based Intelligent Manufacturing degree program to gain experience in concrete project-based teaching
  • Evaluation of didactic concepts for cross-course projects
  • Feasibility study of different concepts of project-based teaching in other degree programs
