Journey to Clausthal

From Hanover and Kassel:
A7 to the Seesen junction; here take the B243 towards Osterode; after approx. 5 km turn off onto the B242 to Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
From Berlin:
A2 to Wolfsburg-Königslutter junction; A39 to BS-Süd junction, here continue towards Bad Harzburg; A395 to Bad Harzburger Dreieck; continue on B6 towards Goslar; from Goslar B241 to Clausthal-Zellerfeld.
From Leipzig:
A38 to Nordhausen; continue on B243 towards Osterode; from Osterode B241 to Clausthal-Zellerfeld.

From Hanover and Berlin:
Take the train to Goslar; from Goslar station take bus no. 830 to Clausthal-Zellerfeld (bus stop: "Kronenplatz").
From Kassel:
Take the train to Northeim or Herzberg and from there continue by bus.

From the north:
Autobahn A7 Hamburg/Hannover in the direction of Kassel; exit (AS) Derneburg/Salzgitter/Goslar and then via the B6 to Goslar or AS Rhüden (Harz)/Goslar and via the B82 to Goslar
From the south:
Autobahn A7 Kassel/Göttingen in the direction of Hanover; exit Seesen and via the B248 and B82 to Goslar or exit Rhüden (Harz)/Goslar and via the B82 to Goslar
From the west:
highway A2 Dortmund/Hanover; from Hanover highway A7 Hanover in the direction of Kassel, then travel as from the north
From the east:
Autobahn A2 Berlin in the direction of Braunschweig; Wolfsburg-Königslutter interchange (AK) on A 39; AK Braunschweig Süd on A 395 in the direction of Bad Harzburg; AS Goslar via the B6 to Goslar
From Clausthal-Zellerfeld:
Federal road 241 in the direction of Goslar

Goslar's train station is located directly on the edge of the historic old town. Goslar is the intersection of the following railroad lines:

Hanover - Hildesheim - Goslar - Bad Harzburg - Wernigerode - Halberstadt - Halle (KBS 320/330)
Braunschweig - Vienenburg - Bad Harzburg - Goslar - Seesen - Kreiensen (KBS 353/354)
