During your time at TU Clausthal, there are several ways in which you can either earn money within the university itself or receive other kinds of payment, such as BaföG funding:

The term BAföG – short for Bundesausbildungsförderungsgesetz – refers to Germany’s federal law on financial support for education, under which German students can receive funding for the standard duration of their chosen degree program.

Scholarships are offered by various foundations and companies. Unlike BaföG funding, scholarships usually do not need to be paid back.

Known as HiWi jobs in German, student assistant positions are a chance to earn money within the university itself.
