The re-registration periods in which you must re-register for the next semester by transferring the semester fee are as follows:

01.01. - 15.02. Re-registration for the summer semester

01.07. - 31.07. Re-registration for the winter semester

You will not only see the notice for re-registration in the study portal, but also your individual semester fee. Please state the semester in question (year + 1 for the summer semester or 2 for the winter semester, e.g. "20231") and your matriculation number (e.g. "123456") so that we can allocate the incoming payment (in this case, the complete reason for payment is "20231123456"). You can find the relevant bank details here.

Please note that you will not be informed separately by post about the re-registration and that a few days may pass between the transfer being made and the semester fee being booked.

After successful re-registration, the certificate of enrolment will be sent automatically to the address stored in the system (you can view the status of your re-registration in the study portal and, if necessary, adjust the address there before the transfer).

If you have submitted an application for admission to a further degree program / enrollment in a continuing Master's degree program, this can only be processed once payment has been received. A block may be placed in the system for this purpose, but this will be removed once the application has been processed and will not affect you adversely.

If you have completed all your coursework by the end of the examination period (30.03. or 30.09.) and are absolutely certain that you have passed, you do not need to re-register for the next semester. This also applies if your degree has not yet been recorded in the system; the date on which the last work was completed is decisive.

If you are not absolutely sure about your degree, please re-register and de-register within one month of the start of lectures.
