Procedure for medical certificates
In view of the current situation, we would like to point out that doctors are only allowed to issue certificates retroactively for a maximum of two days. If certificates are issued retroactively for longer than this, this is not permitted and the certificate can therefore not be recognized by the Examination Office. So if you need a medical certificate due to illness on the day of the exam (e.g. Friday afternoon or Saturday) and no doctor's surgery is open in your area, please contact the GP emergency service.
The central telephone number for the medical emergency service is
+49 5321 689030 or (without area code) 116 117
The on-call service at the Asklepios Harzklinik hospital in Goslar, Kösliner Str. 12, is responsible.
You can also use the above telephone number to arrange a ride/pick-up service if necessary to visit the on-call practice.
Certificates must always be submitted in the original immediately
(no later than one week after the examination date)
stating the matriculation number, degree program and the examination(s) to be deregistered
to the Examinations Office.
Please also note that certificates,
which are submitted after the start or completion of an examination will not be accepted.
As soon as you start the examination, you declare your eligibility to take the examination. If you withdraw from the examination after it has started, it is deemed to have been failed in accordance with Section 22 (1) (b) of the APO.
Registration for the module examination
Please note that examinations must be taken in accordance with the implementation regulations that apply to you. If your degree program includes module examinations, it makes sense to take them when you have completed all the relevant module parts.
The online registration usually only allows you to register for the examination that is possible for you (if you are on a Master's degree program, make sure you select the examination according to your field of study).
Therefore, if you are registered for a module examination (e.g. Distribution Logistics, Supply Chain Management) but only appear for a partial module examination (e.g. Supply Chain Management), the result of the partial module examination will not be counted and the module examination will be recorded as "not appeared". The examination is then deemed to have been "failed" in the corresponding examination attempt.
You should therefore carefully check your implementation regulations and the registrations you have made.
If you have any uncertainties or questions, please contact the Examinations Office in good time.
