Even from the apartments at the edge of town, it is no more than a 20-minute walk (or 5-minute bike ride) to the center of Clausthal. Clausthal’s many swimming lakes are also within easy reach, as are the entry points for cross-country skiing trails and mountain biking trails in the woods.
