Individual advice
The Central Student Advisory Service answers your questions about studying in a personal advisory meeting, in a telephone conversation, by e-mail or in a video conference. The topics on which we advise:
- What requirements do I need to meet to study?
- What are the application deadlines?
- Is there an NC?
- How can I get to know the university?
- Can I study without a high school diploma?
- Is it better to start in the summer or winter semester?
- When do I have to look for a place in a dormitory?
- What career prospects do I have with this degree program?
- Do I need an internship for my Bachelor's degree?
- What is the application process for a Master's program?
Übergang Schule – Universität
- The change from school to university is an exciting experience for all prospective students. Even choosing a course of study is a difficult matter, and the wide range of courses available throughout Germany does not make the decision any easier.
- Also, first-year students often have to realize quickly that there are fundamental differences between attending school and studying at university. For example, a high degree of independence is generally required in university studies, and the individual support one is used to from school is not possible in every course of study.
- It is therefore all the more important to prepare well for the start of your studies so that nothing stands in the way of a successful start!
