The Institute for Software and Systems Engineering (ISSE) of the University of Technologies Clausthal is hiring a
academic researcher in the field of stakeholder networking & living lab management
(if the personal requirements are fulfilled EG 13 TV-L)
at first for a 3-year duration. The job offer is basically part time suitable.
During the duration of the position, it is possible to strive for a PhD. at the Institute for Software and Systems Engineering (ISSE) located Research Group Digitized Green Tech focusses on the design and the development of digital solutions to shape a sustainable future.

Our excellent Network on international and national basis offers a perfect start for a scientific or industrial career!
Your activities will include the further development and expansion of the Digitized Circular Economy (DCE) real-world laboratory based at DIGIT as well as the collection and analysis of requirements from existing partners. In addition, further partners are to be integrated into the network and new formats and pilot projects for testing innovative and sustainable technologies are to be designed and implemented in this network. The aim is to put scientific findings on the road with partners from the region!
Your tasks are:
- Requirements definition, survey and documentation
- Processing of research projects
- Conception of digital systems and services
- Developing suitable participation formats together with external partners
- Designing and supporting pilot projects together with stakeholders from industry, science and local authorities
- Implementation of transfer and networking events
- Publication of your research results at national and international conferences
- Support in the preparation of lectures, supervision of exercises and scientific work by students
Your profile:
- Successful degree (Master's, Diploma) in the field of computer science, software systems engineering, digital technologies or comparable qualification
- Openness to varied and exciting topics and tasks in the field of digitized circular economy
- Independent, structured way of working and quick comprehension; ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new concepts
- Enjoyment of scientific work in a cross-domain context
- High level of communication skills
- Outstanding skills in agile project management and the application of workshop methods
- Good knowledge of object orientation and at least basic knowledge of UML
- Knowledge of minimum one programming language (e.g. C++, Python, Java)
- Good written and spoken English skills (min. level B2)
- Good written and spoken German skills (min. level B2)
