Examinations

The Presidium has adopted the following decision on the organisation of the oral examinations in the context of the doctoral programme by videoconference.

"At Clausthal University of Technology, oral doctoral examinations with attendance are to be held. If attendance examinations are not possible, taking into account the current, officially decreed measures to stem the spread of the corona virus, a postponement of the disputations should be considered first. In cases of justified hardship, the Faculty can, upon request, allow a disputation to be held electronically via a video and audio connection (video conference/video telephony). Before making this decision, the faculty will obtain the consent of all members of the PhD Commission. There is no right to file the disputation via video conference.

This regulation is valid until attendance courses at the university can take place again without any restrictions. The date of the application is valid."

For further information please contact the respective faculty.
